This week we developed a quality understand of the Engineering Design Process but some students questioned the value of sketching. So we took a week to learn about how artists used sketches and how to create meaningful sketches. K-2 enjoyed gesture drawing, where they used simple shapes to sketch a friend's gesture. 3-4 created sketches of block structures, then shared them with a friend who attempted to build their structure.
